Ryugumon

Key Cards

BT19-027|SR

Ryugumon

line
Ryugumon arrives as a new ace for Aquatic decks!
The new <Decode> keyword effect allows a Digimon to be played from a Digimon’s digivolution cards when it would leave the battle area other than by a battle.
This card has an inherited effect that can play a blue level 4 or lower Digimon from this card's digivolution cards without paying the cost.
When you return 1 of your Digimon to the bottom of your deck, this Digimon's powerful End of Your Turn effect can return 1 of your opponent's Digimon (also to the bottom of the deck) with a level less than or equal to your returned Digimon. If you return this Digimon itself, you can also activate the <Decode> keyword effect!
BT19-082|U

Yao Qinglan

line
A new Tamer from DIGIMON LIBERATOR!
If your memory is at 2 or less, its Start of Your Turn effect sets it to 3. Its Your Turn effect allows you to place 1 level 5 or lower Digimon card with [Aqua] or [Sea Animal] in any of its traits from your hand as your Digimon's bottom digivolution card when it has [Aqua] or [Sea Animal] in any of its traits and attacks. This Tamer is great for supporting Aquatic decks and their proficiency for playing Digimon from digivolution cards using methods such as <Decode>!

Additional recommended card

P-098|P

Seadramon

line
The On Play/When Digivolving effect prevents 1 of your blue Digimon from being deleted until the end of your opponent's turn, giving your Aquatic Digimon attack support.
This card's inherited effect gives 1 of your blue Digimon <Rush> when you play another Digimon, making this a great choice for playing Aquatic Digimon from digivolution cards.

Deck strategy

Get an upgrade for Aquatic decks and their ability to play Digimon from digivolution cards!
Start out by trying to play the Tamer [BT19-082 Yao Qinglan] while you digivolve your Digimon.
You can use [BT19-019 Shellmon]'s When Digivolving effect to play [BT19-082 Yao Qinglan] without paying the cost.
Once you have [BT19-082 Yao Qinglan] in play, attack using Digimon with [Aqua] or [Sea Animal] in any of their traits while you use [BT19-082 Yao Qinglan]'s Your Turn effect to build up your digivolution cards with various inherited effects.
When you have a digivolution into [BT19-027 Ryugumon], use inherited effects to play level 4 and lower Digimon from digivolution cards while you use the End of Your Turn effect to remove your opponent's Digimon! You can also use the new <Decode> keyword effect to prevent your Digimon from being removed by your opponent while you battle.
The key to victory will be playing multiple Digimon with [Aqua] or [Sea Animal] in any of their traits into the battle area, especially [BT19-027 Ryugumon] because it has the new keyword effect!

X Antibody Proto Form

line
Digimon with the [Royal Base] trait also have the [X Antibody] trait, so you can use this card to reduce the cost by 1 when you digivolve them.
Use the inherited effect to place cards on top of the security stack, then you can return them to the hand by using [BT18-004 Puroromon] and [BT18-044 FanBeemon]'s effects that switch cards between your hand and your security stack!

Deck strategy

With your security stack serving as the Royal Base, this deck can increase your face-up security cards to strengthen your colony.
In the opening turns, move level 3 Digimon from the breeding area to the battle area and use [BT18-004 Puroromon]'s inherited effect to place cards from your hand as face-up security cards.
The level 3 and 4 Digimon with the [Royal Base] trait have an effect that gives all your Digimon with the [Royal Base] trait +1000 DP while those level 3 or 4 Digimon are placed face-up in the security stack.
While a level 5 Digimon is placed face-up in your security stack, all of your Digimon with the [Royal Base] trait will gain <Blocker> during your opponent's turn.
Use the cards placed in your security stack to increase the offensive capabilities of your Royal Base.
Starting in the mid-game turns, digivolve your Digimon into [BT19-053 QueenBeemon] and attack while you get [BT18-056 TigerVespamon] cards onto the field! Block your opponent's moves while using <Alliance> to attack, use your Digimon on the field to protect your queen, and soon you'll be on the road to victory.
With the strongest of the Cyborg Digimon at your command, your domination will be unshaking!

ZeedMillenniummon

Key Cards

BT19-101|SEC

ZeedMillenniummon

line
After reviving with a newly obtained dark soul, a mega wicked god Digimon descends!
Armed with the <Overclock [Composite] Trait> keyword effect, you can attack while causing Composite Digimon with On Deletion effects to spontaneously delete.
Its On Play/When Digivolving/When Attacking effect can return 1 of your opponent's Digimon to the bottom of the deck when you return 1 Digimon card from their trash to the top of the deck, allowing you to remove your opponent's cards from two areas!
When this Digimon has no digivolution cards, its All Turns effect prevents it from being suspended or affected by your opponent's effects, giving it unique defensive abilities. Play it by making use of [BT19-099 Descent of the Wicked God!]!
BT19-075|SR

Moon=Millenniummon

line
This deck includes Moon=Millenniummon, the soul form of Millenniummon!
This card's On Play/When Digivolving effect forces your opponent to trash cards in their hand until they have 5 cards left, and for every 2 cards trashed by this effect, you delete 1 of your opponent's Tamers.
The 1st All Turns effect prevents this Digimon from leaving the battle area if you delete 1 of your Digimon with the [Composite] trait, making this a powerful defensive effect that has great affinity with Digimon that have On Deletion effects.
The 2nd All Turns effect trashes your opponent's top security card when another Digimon or Tamer is deleted, giving you the opportunity to trash an opponent's security card when you activate a defensive effect!

Additional recommended card

BT5-107|U

Revive From the Darkness!

line
This Option card deletes 1 of your purple Digimon and then allows you to play 1 level 5 or lower purple Digimon card from your trash without paying the cost.
This will let you play a Kimeramon for a low cost for use in DNA digivolving. If you use [Revive From the Darkness!]'s effect to delete [BT18-073 Machinedramon] and play a Kimeramon, you'll be able to immediately DNA digivolve into [BT18-019 Millenniummon]!

Deck strategy

If you DNA digivolve a Machinedramon and Kimeramon from your battle area or trash into [BT18-019 Millenniummon], and then digivolve into cards like [BT19-075 Moon=Millenniummon] and [BT19-101 ZeedMillenniummon], you can use this deck to control your opponent's hand, trash, and battle area.
First use [BT18-007 Gazimon] or [BT19-066 Gizamon]'s On Play effect to obtain necessary cards in your hand and trash while you try to get a digivolution into [BT18-015 Kimeramon].
Once you're ready, use [BT19-099 Descent of the Wicked God!]'s Main effect to reduce the play cost of [BT18-073 Machinedramon] so you can play it. Next, use [BT18-015 Kimeramon]'s On Deletion effect to DNA digivolve into [BT18-019 Millenniummon]!
Then digivolve Millenniummon into [BT19-075 Moon=Millenniummon] and reduce the cards in your opponent's hand, remove their Tamers, and reduce the cards in their security stack.
Toward the end of the game, play [BT19-101 ZeedMillenniummon] using [BT19-099 Descent of the Wicked God!]'s <Delay> effect or digivolve from [BT19-075 Moon=Millenniummon], interfere with your opponent's battle area and trash, and block their moves while you attack.
[BT18-019 Millenniummon] can bounce back when removed, and it is one of the most threatening wicked god Digimon. Tear through the game with an impenetrable lawless mega Digimon!
